摘要
目的:探究身体功能书写干预对女大学生负面身体自我的影响及身体功能感激在其中的中介作用。方法:将招募到的93名女大学生随机分为干预组(身体功能书写)和控制组(创造力训练书写干预),在干预前、干预后及干预结束一周后测量其身体功能感激、负面身体自我水平。结果:干预组在后测、追踪测试中的身体功能感激水平显著高于前测,负面身体自我水平显著低于前测,而控制组在三次测试中的各变量均无显著差异;中介分析结果显示,身体功能感激水平的提升在干预分组对负面身体自我水平的降低的影响中起完全中介作用。结论:身体功能书写干预能有效降低女大学生的负面身体自我水平,该作用是通过提升身体功能感激水平实现的。
Objective:The current study aimed to investigate the effect and potential mechanism of the functionalitybased writing intervention(Expand Your Horizon)on improving body image.Methods:Totally 93 Chinese female college students were randomized to the Expand Your Horizon program or to the creativity training program,both of which included three online writing exercises.The functionality appreciation and negative physical self were assessed at Pretest(T1),Posttest(T2)and 1-week Follow-Up(T3).Results:The results showed that the intervention group experienced significantly lower level of negative physical self at both Posttest and 1-week Follow-Up than Pretest,while there was no significant difference among the three time points in the control group.The result of mediation analysis showed that improvements in functionality appreciation across the intervention(T2-T1)completely mediated the effect of the functionality-based writing intervention on reductions in the level of negative physical self at 1-week Follow-Up(T3-T1).Conclusion:The functionality-based writing intervention can effectively reduce the level of negative physical self in Chinese female college students,which is through improving functionality appreciation.
