Objective To study the effect of non-invasive ventilator on lung function and sleep in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)patients with typeⅡrespiratory failure. Methods 58 patients with COPD and typeⅡrespiratory failure admitted to the hospital from June 2018 to June 2021 were taken as the research objects, and they were randomly divided into a control group(29 cases)and a study group(29 cases);the control group received conventional treatment. The study group was treated with non-invasive ventilator;the lung function index levels, sleep quality scores before and after treatment were compared between the two groups and the total effective rate after treatment. Results Before treatment, there was no difference in pulmonary function index levels and sleep quality scores between the two groups(P>0.05);compared with before treatment, the lung function index levels and sleep quality scores of the two groups after treatment were higher(P<0.05);the study group compared The lung function index level, sleep quality score and total effective rate were higher in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion The non-invasive ventilator has a significant effect in the treatment of COPD patients with typeⅡrespiratory failure, which can effectively improve the lung function of patients and improve their sleep quality.
