摘要
本文梳理了近10年基于语料库的语用学国际前沿研究,发现其呈现如下特征与发展趋势:1)重视语言的概率属性,基于频数信息考察最常用的语言型式和最典型的语用功能,强化研究的实证性;2)汇聚两条脉络朝纵深展开:经典语用学理论的修正与充实;具体语用现象的系统考察与分析;3)探究语用相对性、变异性和文化专有性,剖析语用与词汇、句法、语篇、韵律的内在联系,深层解释人类交际。其局限主要体现在语用单位提取的规约性、文本数据的单一性以及研究课题的微观语用偏向。未来研究将进一步朝宏观语用学领域拓展,多模态语料库和语用标注语料库将发挥更大作用。
This paper reviews corpus pragmatic studies that have been conducted in the past decade or so,with the aim of revealing the current status and emerging trends in the field.The results show that current corpus-based pragmatics 1)highlights recurring linguistic patterns and typical pragmatic functions,thereby grounding pragmatic studies in observations of authentic texts;2)centers on investigating specific pragmatic phenomena as well as supporting or challenging classic pragmatic theories;3)shows a growing interest in pragmatic relativity,variation and culture-specificity,and the association between pragmatics and the lexicon,syntax,discourse and prosody.However,existing research is restricted to conventionalized forms or phrases,text-based monomodal corpora,and micro-pragmatic topics.It is therefore suggested that future research will need to be further extended to macro-pragmatic areas,where multi-modal and pragmatically annotated corpora play a central role.
