摘要
随着智能传播技术的发展,西方政治传播领域出现了一种新的类型——计算宣传。计算宣传是一种有组织地利用算法技术在社交媒体平台传播虚假信息的行为。本文从宣传的概念入手,探讨了计算宣传的概念演进运行机制和呈现特征,从“算法认知战”的视角结合具体案例分析了西方计算宣传在实践中的前沿动态。
With the development of communication technology represented by algorithms,a new type of propaganda-computational propaganda-has emerged in the field of Western political communication.Computational propaganda is the type of communication behavior that organically exploits algorithms to spread misinformation and disinformation on social media.Starting from the concept of propaganda,this research explores the conceptual evolution,operational mechanism and practical characteristics of computational propaganda.Then the frontier of computational propaganda in practice from the perspective of“algorithmic cognitive warfare”is discussed with several cases in point.
