在经济全球化不断向前发展的大背景下,国家间的交流和往来也越来越频繁、紧密,因此,英语作为全世界使用最为广泛的语言,发挥着举足轻重的作用。英语谚语是英语的精华所在,是文明的沉淀和积累,体现出了人民群众的才智。文章通过分析英语谚语的特点、影响英语谚语翻译的因素、翻译方法,旨在使读者更加深入地理解英语谚语,体会不同的翻译方法,并从中了解英汉文化差异,达到更高的英语谚语赏析和应用层次。
In the context of the continuous development of economic globalization,communication and exchanges between countries are becoming increasingly frequent and close.Therefore,English,as the most widely used language in the world,plays a crucial role.English proverbs are the essence of English,the precipitation and accumulation of civilization,and reflect the wisdom of the people.This article analyzes the characteristics of English proverbs,factors that affect their translation,and translation methods,aiming to enable readers to have a deeper understanding of English proverbs,experience different translation methods,and understand cultural differences between English and Chinese,in order to achieve a higher level of appreciation and application of English proverbs.
