Objective: To explore the effect of whole-course nursing intervention on the prognosis and functional recovery of patients with artificial hip arthroplasty. Methods: A total of 80 patients with artificial hip arthroplasty who were admitted to the hospital from January 2020 to November 2021 were retrospectively selected, and were divided into the routine group and the whole process group according to different nursing methods. The 40 patients who received nursing were included in the routine group, and the 40 patients who underwent whole-course nursing intervention were included in the whole-course group. The excellent and good rate, quality of life(QLQ-C30) and complications of Harris hip score were compared between the two groups. Results: After the intervention, the excellent and good rate of Harris hip score in the whole group was higher than that in the conventional group(P<0.05);the QLQ-C30 physical function, social function, physical pain, emotional function and overall health scores in the whole group were higher than those in the conventional group(P<0.05);the total incidence of complications in the whole group was lower than that in the routine group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The use of whole-course nursing intervention in patients with artificial hip arthroplasty is beneficial to improve the hip function of patients, reduce the risk of complications, thus improving the quality of life.
