摘要
社会支持在压力应对中起重要作用,但强关系、弱关系理论主导下的网络结构是否适用于差序格局下的中国社会及复杂的生活场景尚不清楚。本研究对压力应对时的多种支持源进行调查,以探讨社会支持网络的私人关系效应及场景差异。结果表明,社会支持网络包括私人关系(如自己、家人、朋友)、社区邻里(如基层、邻居)、社会机构(如中央政府、外地政府、民间组织)三个维度。民众在困难时会优先选择私人关系,尤其在疾病威胁场景下私人关系更加明显;在日常生活场景下,社区邻里的优先性大于社会机构。本研究揭示了中国文化背景下社会支持网络以“己”为中心的私人关系效应,以及社区邻里关系的补充功能,这对当前社会心理服务与社区治理工作或有参考价值。
Social support plays an essential role in pressure coping,but it remains unclear whether the strong/weak tie theories about social support network is workable in Chinese society and dynamic contexts.Based on various sources of social support in coping with stress,the present research was an attempt to investigate the effect of personal ties on social support network and its context variations among Chinese.Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses of eight support sources showed that the structure of social support network includes three dimensions,covering private relationship(e.g.,self,family,friends),community neighborhood(e.g.,grassroots,neighbors),social institutions(e.g.,central government,non-local government,other social organizations).When people are in difficulties,they preferred personal ties,followed by community and social institutions.Besides,the effect of personal ties did not weaken along with the modernization of society.In the disease-threat(vs.daily life vs.financial hardship)context,participants prized personal ties over other support;in the daily life(vs.disease threat vs.financial hardship)context,participants prized neighborhood support over social institutions support.Taken together,the current findings demonstrate the personal ties effect of social support network in Chinese culture and the complementary function of community neighborhood relationships,providing insights on social psychological services and community governance.
