摘要
功能充分性是当前二语作文评估研究中的难点。本文以132名印尼少儿汉语二语看图写作文本为语料,对比单独采用语言特征指标(CAF)、功能充分性指标(FA)以及同时包含上述两类指标的三种评估方式对写作成绩的回归预测力。结果发现:(1)单独语言特征指标对写作成绩变异的回归预测力为63%,单独功能充分性特征指标的预测力为46%,两者一起的总预测力达到78%;(2)因子分析发现,10个包含语言特征和功能充分性特征的指标中能提取出"高汉字能力""功能充分性""语言质量"三个公因子。三个公因子能解释10个指标中64%的信息并且保持了对写作成绩的高回归预测力。结果表明,基于客观文本统计值的功能充分性评估具有较好的相对独立性和研究效度;因子分析能较好地解决二语作文评估中指标繁多的问题,为探索指标间的关系提供有效参考。
Functional adequacy(FA)is a difficult topic in the current assessment of L2 compositions.The present study aims to explore the FA of writing in Chinese as a second language by comparing the predictive effect of FA and language features(CAF),and that of the measures of both CAF and FA,on writing quality.A total of 132 Indonesian adolescents’Chinese written texts were analyzed in terms of CAF and FA measures with correlation,regression and factor analysis.Regression analyses reveal that CAF accounts for 63%of the variance in writing scores,and FA 46%,while the combined predictive power of the two reaches 78%.Factor analysis suggests that there are three common factors that can be extracted from the 10 measures of CAF and FA,namely"Chinese character ability","functional adequacy"and"language quality".The results indicate that the FA assessment measured by objective text features is relatively independent of CAF.
