摘要
本文在语篇理论视域下,以日文小说《起风了》及其四个汉译本为对象,探讨日语论元语序的制约机制及翻译原则。日语论元语序同时受句法语义和语篇两个因素制约,句法语义的调控手段体现为论元与谓语的紧密度,语篇的调控手段体现为信息结构和主位结构。其中,语篇因素优先于句法语义因素起作用,在语篇因素中主位结构优先于信息结构起作用。为了使译文最大限度地还原原文的表达效果,翻译时要在保证符合译语表述规范的基础上遵循“主位结构>信息结构>紧密度原则”的优先原则。
From the perspective of discourse theory of systemic functional linguistics,this paper takes the Japanese novel The Wind Blous and its four Chinese versions as an example to discuss the restriction mechanism of Japanese argument order and its translation principles.It is found that syntactic-semantic factors and textual factors can regulate the order of argument simultaneously.The syntactic-semantic regulation is embodied in the compactness of the arguments and the predicates,and the textual regulation is embodied in information structure and thematic structure.The textual factors take precedence over syntactic and semantic factors.In the textual factors,thematic structure takes precedence over information structure.In order to restore the expressive effect of the original to the greatest extent,the priority principle of“thematic structure>information structure>tightness principle”should be followed on the basis of ensuring the grammatical correctness of the translated text.
