摘要
在移动互联网时代,数字鸿沟在社会分层中的重要性愈发凸显,个体使用互联网的方式和能力所表征的数字资本已经成为一种重要的资源。文章使用个体参与各类互联网活动的频率来测量数字资本,基于2018年“中国大学生就业、生活及价值观调查”数据,考察大学生群体内部数字资本的家庭阶层差异、数字资本对大学生社会资本获得的影响以及这种效应的学校和家庭阶层异质性。研究发现:第一,来自较高阶层家庭的大学生拥有更多的数字资本;第二,不同类型的互联网活动对大学生社会资本获得的影响方向不同,但整体上来看,数字资本的增加有利于大学生获得更多社会资本;第三,数字资本对大学生社会资本获得的影响呈现出家庭和学校的“双重再生产”特征,其对大学生社会资本获得的正向效应对就读于优质高校、来自较高阶层家庭的大学生显著更强。研究表明,数字资本成为大学生群体内部不平等代际再生产的一条新的路径。
In the era of mobile Internet,digital divide plays a more and more important role in social stratification.The way and ability of individuals to use the Internet has become an important resource—digital capital.This study uses the frequency of participating in various Internet activities to represent individuals’digital capital and examines the class differences of digital capital within college students,the effect of digital capital on college students’social capital,and the school and class heterogeneity of this effect.The study found that:first,college students from high-class families have more digital capital;second,different types of Internet activities have different influences on college students’social capital,but on the whole,the increase of digital capital can help college students to acquire more social capital;third,the influence of digital capital on college students’social capital is a“dual reproduction”pattern of family and university,and the positive effect of digital capital on college students’social capital is stronger for college students studying in high-quality universities and from high-class families.The conclusion of this study shows that digital capital has become a new and important way for the intergenerational reproduction of inequality within college students.
