摘要
研究思维与语言的关系是萨丕尔-沃尔夫假说的核心问题。以假说语言相对论观点为切入点,探讨假说对景观标识语翻译的影响。研究发现:英汉思维的差异与语言表述差异密切相关;在景观标识语翻译过程中存在着因为思维差异而导致的翻译不合理现象。在此基础上提出了语言相对论视角下的景观标识语翻译策略。
Studying the relationship between thinking and language is the core issue of the Sapir-Wolf hypothesis.We discuss the influence of hypothesis on the translation of landscape signs from the perspective of hypothetical linguistic relativity as the starting point.The research found that:1.The differences in thinking between English and Chinese are closely related to the differences in language expression.2.In the process of landscape sign translation,there are unreasonable translation phenomena due to differences in thinking.On this basis,it is put forward the strategy of landscape sign translation from the perspective of linguistic relativity.
