摘要
公共图书馆是公共外交的有效载体。丰富的馆藏文献资源、一流的物理空间和设施配备使得公共图书馆具备成为独立策划开展对外交往行为主体的能力。本文以上海图书馆开展的国际项目为例,分析上海图书馆充分利用自身资源、发挥文化传播能力,成为公共外交的有力抓手,服务于国家战略和城市发展需求,为提升国家形象和软实力贡献力量。
Public libraries are effective organizations for public diplomacy.With rich collections of literature resources,first-class physical space and facilities,public libraries are capable of being the actors in diplomatic activities.This article mainly introduces the international project carried out by Shanghai Library and analyzes how Shanghai Library satisfied the needs of national strategies and city development by making full use of its own resources as well as promoting Chinese culture.
