The spillway tunnel project of the Baihetan Hydropower Station on the Jinsha River is one of the world's six largest hydropower stations, and "the scale of the pressureless spillway tunnel group is the world's largest". The spillway tunnel has the characteristics of "one long, two low, three high and three big", i.e. "long tunnel, low heat cement, low slump, high flow rate, high water head, high strength, large cross section, large discharge volume and large slope". The structural arrangement of "Longluowei + bucket" is adopted for flood discharge and energy dissipation. In order to meet the requirements of impact resistance and wear resistance, the concrete of the side wall and bottom plate of Longluowei section is labeled as C9060W10F150, which belongs to high-strength grade concrete. It is difficult to prevent temperature cracks caused by over temperature. In this paper, combined with the practice of spillway tunnel project, the influencing factors of concrete temperature control and crack prevention are compared and analyzed. A series of temperature control measures, such as optimizing mix proportion, intelligent water cooling and automatic maintenance, are adopted by combining theoretical research with actual construction. Good results are achieved. At the same time, solutions to common problems in the temperature control process are proposed, which can be used for reference by other similar projects.
