Objective: to analyze the application effect of combined TCM nursing technology intervention in the management of postoperative abdominal distension in surgical patients. Methods: our hospital selected 100 surgical patients from January 2018 to January 2020. The digital table was randomly divided into 2 groups and 50 patients per group. The patients in the control group gave routine care. The observation group added the TCM nursing technical intervention to this basis. The anal exhaust time, bowel sound time, persistent abdominal distension, hospitalization time, and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results: anal exhaust time, bowel sound time, sustained abdominal distension and hospital stay, satisfaction was higher than the control group, P <0.05. Conclusion: TCM nursing technical intervention can accelerate the disappearance of abdominal distension, accelerate postoperative exhaust, shorten hospital stay, and improve patient satisfaction.
