摘要
秉承传统的四民分业与重本抑末思想,唐朝政策律令禁止商人入仕。然而,有唐一代商人入仕前后不断,成为显著的社会现象。这一现象的形成,一方面是唐政府注重商品经济的发展,实行扶商政策的结果,另一方面也是商人为提高自身社会地位,努力寻求政治出路的结果。而唐朝官僚制度的缺失、科举制对身份限制的弱化、地方势力的增长等因素,无疑也助长了商人入仕现象。唐代商人入仕,一定程度上冲破了传统社会士商之间的界限,对当时的政治生活产生了较大的影响。
