摘要
关于翻译的方法历来为各种学派争论的焦点,可谓百家争鸣,众说纷纭,莫衷一是。透过众多译法主张,不难找出他们所恪守的一条准则,即翻译的标准。翻译的标准是检验一切翻译理论合理与否的唯一准绳。本文从直译和意译的基本定义出发,依据翻译的标准,针对其各自的优点与不足分别加以阐述,究其内在的相互关系并进一步讨论翻译活动中各自所遵守的基本规则。
