摘要
由于变幻莫测的社会政治经济文化生活的影响和各国移民语言的渗透,当代美语呈现出纷繁复杂的嬗变态势,从而给翻译工作带来了一系列新的课题和挑战。对此,作者提出,应全面了解当代美国的社会文化生活,树立正确的语言发展观,加强对当代美国活的语言的研究,准确把握当代美语的内涵与外延,掌握科学的语言艺术,以保证翻译工作把握时代脉搏,紧跟实践进程,顺势应变,健康发展。
