On the Ubiquitous Library Abroad:Theory and Practice

摘要泛在图书馆是描绘图书馆的现在和未来的一个非常贴切的专业术语。本文在分析国外有关泛在图书馆研究文献的基础上,概括泛在图书馆的相关定义,归纳泛在图书馆的主要特征,剖析泛在图书馆的软件架构,阐释构建泛在图书馆的技术解决方案,并列举LG上南图书馆、Google图书馆计划、内容开放联盟(OCA)等几个国外泛在图书馆的成功案例,以为国内泛在图书馆理论与实践研究提供必要的参考。 The Ubiquitous library is an appropriate professional term describing the present and future libraries.Based on the analysis on ubiquitous library research abroad,the paper summarizes the notion of the ubiquitous library,analyzes the main characteristics of ubiquitous library,dissects the software architecture of the ubiquitous library,explains the technical solutions for the ubiquitous library,and finally enumerates several successful solutions of global ubiquitous libraries such as LG Sangnam Library,Google Library Project and Open Content Alliance in order to provide necessary references for the ubiquitous library research in China.
