摘要
图书馆作为文化事业的重要组成部分,肩负着开展社会教育、提高全民综合素质的重要职责,是社会服务体系中的重要组成部分,是城市文明的窗口和阵地。民族地区图书馆对本地区的信息资源建设、群众素质的提高和实现民族地区经济社会的发展起着重要作用。文章以西藏图书馆为例,分析了民族地区图书馆可持续发展存在的诸多制约因素,为充分发挥图书馆在民族地区文化事业建设的公益性支持服务作用,促进图书馆事业可持续发展提出了相应对策。
Libraries as an important part of cultural undertakings are responsible for the development of social education and the improvement of the comprehensive quality of the people.Furthermore,libraries are an integral part of the social service system and the window of urban civilization.The libraries in ethic areas play an important role in the construction of ethnic areas' information resources and the improvement of the quality of ethnic people there as well as the social economic development of the areas.Taking Tibet Library as an example,the article depicts the current situation of libraries in ethnic areas,and analyzes the constraints of developing the libraries sustainably,and proposes reasonable and appropriate measures for the libraries' development with the purposes of realizing the social economic development of ethnic areas,and building a harmonious society and culture in Tibet,and having the libraries to give full play in public welfare service.
