Inquring on the Lingjiatan Cemetery

摘要 龟卜、“黄琮礼地”和骨卜是中国史前时代的三大宗教。凌家滩墓地居民接受了大汶口文化谱系的文化影响,行龟甲为卜卦器具的宗教。至龙山时代,骨卜宗教普化,是影响深及商周文化具有重大意义的宗教革命。凌家滩墓地所体现的社会基本特征,是握着神、军权的人物居社会顶层,仅握军权者位居其次,这两类人物都得在某一经济领域中占据重要位置,同时,在这神、军权占统治的社会中,手工业匠人也挤入这社会的上层。在江淮地区,凌家滩墓地具有个性,区别于同地、同时的已识别出采的诸考古学文化。 The prehistoric religion included three traditions characterized respectively by differ-ent divinatory objects: turtle shell, zong-jade and bone. Early inhabitants at Lingjiatanseem to be related with the first category. The wide spread of bone divination during theLongshan era marks a major religious revolution. The social picture created out of the Lingjiatan graveyard is like this: those whocaught hold both of theocratic and military powers are found on the topmost rung of thesocial ladder. Next come those who had military power only. These two social categoriesoccupied important positions in this or that area of the then economic life. Handicraftsmenalso drove their way into the upper social scale. The Lingjiatan cemetery shows some peculiar qualities, which differentiate it fromother well identified archaeological cultures of the same area and period.
