摘要
语言学研究越来越强调语料的真实性和客观性。近年来计算机技术空前迅速的发展，使得相关研究人员和机构能够建立包含广泛自然语料的语料库、本文回顾了语料库的发展过程，举例探讨了它在语言研究和教学领域中的作用。作者认为，由于语料库具有不可替代的工具作用，其收集内容的广泛性和全面性便显得尤为重要；相应的语料分析软件也会随之越来越先进和简便。
LinguiStic Studies have come to attach more and more importance to authentic language materials becauseof its objectiveness and truthfulness. The rapid development of computer technology in recent years makes itpossible for researchers and institutions to set up Corpus that consists of spoken and written langUage by nativespeakers. Such Corpus has come to play an indispensable role in the teaching of language and linguistics.
