摘要
本文论述自然科学和社会科学可以通过隐喻化建立联系，相互借鉴，推动本学科的发展。但这是一个不断发现不断验证的过程。２１ 世纪的语言学一方面要密切注意科学理论的新发现，另一方面不能因此把语言学理论完全置于自然科学理论之下，因为语言终究涉及人类的主客观活动，是人类表述经验和交际的工具。
The article holds that close relation can be established between natural sciences and social sciences by virtue of metaphorization, and various disciplines will benefit from the development in other disciplines. When mankind moves into the 21st century, linguistic scholarship should on the one hand follow closely new discoveries in scientific theories, and on the other hand, should by no means put linguistic theory directly under scientific theories, as language concerns the subjective and objective activities of mankind and serves as a tool for representing their experience and communicating socially. Linguistic rules are not natural laws.
