摘要
衔接与连贯及其关系问题是语篇分析的重要课题。在过去的３０多年中，语言学界在如何看待衔接与连贯的关系这一问题上提出了许多不同的观点。本文首先简要介绍了衔接与连贯的术语来源、定义和区分等问题，然后归纳了语言学家在衔接与连贯的关系这一问题上的不同观点，最后提出了笔者对这一问题的见解与看法。
The relationship between cohesion and coherence is one of the major concerns of discourse analysis. Owing to the cross disciplinary aspect of discourse analysis, many linguists have thus far made considerable investigations into this area of study from varied perspectives. This paper attempts a systematic discussion of the different views concerning the relationship between cohesion and coherence, and sets out to illustrate the authors views on how to interpret the relationship between these two concepts.
