摘要
大学英语》(全新版 )《阅读教程》除了采取全新的内容和编排之外还希望在教学理念上有所突破。学生通过阅读接触到一定量的语言素材 ,受到基本的阅读技巧训练 ,同时必须认识到阅读的意义 :阅读的出发点和目的都不是为了记忆单词和词组 ,其真正意义在于了解作者如何用英语语言表达思想。因此 ,本教材采用了边注的形式 ,以详细的边注帮助学生克服阅读障碍 ,让学生明白只有从语境入手才能准确地掌握单词、词组的意思和用法 ,使他们充分感受英语语言的魅力。练习与课文密切相关 ,主要是突出课文的重点和难点 ,其目的不是考察学生的学习成果 ,而是帮助教师发现问题 ,培养学生对英语的敏感和理解力。把学生的注意力转向语境和作者的思想有利于提高学生的学习兴趣 ,提高英语教学的效率。
The Reading Course of new College English is compiled in accordance with the pedagogic notion that a reading text book should not only furnish useful materials and training in reading skills but also bring the students to see that reading is something interesting, beneficial, and within their reach in spite of all the new words and expressions. The design of the Reading Course highlights the most important tasks of reading and the language difficulties, and tries to raise the efficiency of reading and teaching by providing detailed marginal notes. With the help of the marginal notes and text-oriented reading skills, students are able to pay attention to many aspects of English language and thus have a better understanding of the context and ideas.
