摘要
太湖流域的新石器时代考古以注主要集中于太湖流域腹地，沿江地区工作则相对较少。东山村遗址的发掘，对于深入了解沿江地区的文化内涵、太湖区与宁镇区史前文化的关系都有极其重要的意义。
The Neolithic archaeology in Taihu Lake valley has been mainly practised in its hinterland. Comparatively less work has been done in the area near the river. The excavation of Dongshanvillage site is thus of great significance to the further understanding of the cultural connotations andthe relations between the prehistoric cultures in Taihu Lake area and Nanjing-Zhenjiang area.
