摘要
本文从君主立宪,渐进改良和革新的主要动力阶层三方面具体剖析了福泽谕吉和梁启超政治革新观的异同。认为尽管他们在政体优劣标准、政治革新在国家现代化中的地位等许多方面存在显著的差异,但都既希望效法西方国家进行政治变革,又要求保持传统的连续性、稳定性和强有力的中央集权政府,因而他们的政治革新观都具有两面性特征,其根源在于近代日中两国对现代变革的共同要求和历史与现实中存在的深刻差异。后者不仅导致日中走上不同的现代化道路,也导致了福、梁政治革新观的不同历史命运和他们后期的思想转变。
This article analyses the similarities and differences between Fukuzawa Yukichi and Liang Ch'i-chao in their political views of constitutional monarchy, gradual reform, and the main power force of innovation. Though they disagree with each other in many aspects, they both hope to learn from the West in the political reform. They also want to maintain a strong, centralized government and the traditional social order. Hence the dual character of their respective political theories. The different historical circumstances not only led Japan and China onto different roads of modernization, but also caused Fukuzawa Yukichi and Liang Ch'i-chao to modify their political ideologies in the later years.
