摘要
随着中国经济实力和国际地位的不断提高,越来越多的外国人渴望了解中国。近年来外国留学生的数量不断增加,但中国高校图书馆受传统服务模式的影响,对留学生读者的服务重视不够,留学生读者在使用中国的高校图书馆时会遇到语言交流、图书馆差异和服务差异等障碍,不利于中国文化的对外传播。因此,高校图书馆应重视留学生读者的服务工作,建设专门针对留学生读者的馆藏资源,提高馆员的业务素质和外语水平,定期举办一些适合留学生读者参加的活动等,提高为留学生读者服务的质量。
With the increasing improvement of China’s economic strength and international status,more and more foreigners are eager to know China.In recent years,the number of foreign students in China is escalating,but influenced by the traditional modes,there still exist some problems in the service to international students,such as language communication,differences among the libraries and services,which are not conducive to the spread of the Chinese culture.Therefore,university libraries should pay attention to the service work for those foreign students,try to construct the special library sources,endeavor to raise the librarians’professional quality and foreign language level,regularly hold some activities suitable for international students,and enhance the quality of service.
