The latest development of YAG: Ce3+ phosphor used for white LEDs is summarized.Its synthesis ways include high temperature solid state reaction method,sol-gel method,spray drying method,co-precipitation method,combustion method and so on.Their advantages and disadvantages are compared,and the development status and trends are also pointed out.
