摘要
高等教育的民族传统是中国传统高等教育的演化特色和价值追求。它从教化论的哲学出发,将"道"作为知识传授的具体目标,主张教师要先修明"道"才能正人,同时重视学生的自修。近代中国对高等教育民族传统的认识经历了隐而不彰、光而不耀两个阶段。当前,在实现民族复兴、建设中国的世界一流大学的进程中,高等教育民族传统对解决做人、做中国人、做现代中国人,以及办大学、办中国大学、办现代中国大学等近现代教育中的重大问题,具有十分重要的意义。
The national tradition of higher education was the characteristics and value of higher learning in ancient China.Based on the philosophy of humanitarianism,it made'Dao'as the goal of learning,emphasizing the teacher's own enlightenment as well as the student's self-study.In modern China,the cognizance of the national tradition of higher education could be divided into the ambiguous period and the inessential period.Now,in the process of revitalizing our nation and constructing the world-class universities of China,the national tradition of higher education is useful to help people to be humane,to be Chinese,and to be modern Chinese;and it also benefit higher education institutions to be a university,to be a China's university,and to be a modern China's university.
