摘要
大学英语是一门必修课.由于学生入学时英语基础的差异,因而出现了学生英语成绩很快两极分化的问题:有的同学在大二就通过了六级考试,而相当一部分学生到了大四还在为过四级考试苦苦挣扎.根据统计资料(转引自<外语界>2003,(1)),这样的学生是个很大的群体,所以对他们英语学习的特点进行研究也就有了很现实的意义.本文在实际观察的基础上对此进行了思考并提出相应的措施.
College English is a compulsory subject which does not take students'proficient differences into consideration after they enter universities. A polarization in their English learning soon appears: some pass Band 6 in Grade 2 but others still struggle hard with Band 4 in Grade 4. Statistics( Foreign Language World , Issue 1,2003) show that such students are not a small group; and a research on their learning characteristics thus becomes meaningful. Based on actual observations, this paper analyses such features and puts forward relevant measures.
