The clinical study of topiramate on Tourette's syndrome

摘要 目的 :观察妥泰治疗儿童多发性抽动症的疗效及其副作用。方法 :将多发性抽动症 112例患儿随机分为治疗组和对照组各 5 6例。治疗组采用妥泰按 1~ 2mg/(kg·d)每日 2次吞服 ,对照组采用氟哌啶醇 1~ 6mg/d ,每日分 2~ 3次口服。治疗期间每月定期门诊复诊。结果 :治疗组有效率为 83.92 % ,对照组有效率为 80 .35 %。两组有效率比较差异无显著性 (χ2 =0 .0 6 1,P >0 .0 5 ) ;两组副作用相比有极显著差异 (χ2 =4 9.86 3,P <0 .0 0 0 1)。结论 :妥泰与氟哌啶醇治疗TS同样有效 ,但副作用较氟哌啶醇明显减少 。 Objective:To observe the efficacy and side effects of Topiramate(TPM) on children with Tourette's syndrome(TS).Methods:112 children with Tourcttc's syndrome (TS) were randomly divided into two groups,namely the routine group and control group.56patients of routine group were treated with Topiramate,while the others in control group were treated with haloperidol.Patients in the former group took Topiramte 1~2mg/(kg·d) twice per day while those of the latter group took haloperidol 1~6mg/d twice or three times per day.The patients were assessed by regular return visits every month during the period of receiving trcatment.Results:The efficacy rates of two groups were 83.92% and 80.35% respectively with no significant differences found between two groups(x^2=0.061 P>0.05).However there existed great differences in their side effects(x^2=49.863 P<0.0001).Conclusion:The study indicates that both Topiramatc and haloperidol are effective in treating Tourette's syndrome.However as far as the side effects are concerned,the Topirimate is more efficient than haloperidol for alleviating the complications.
