PREPARATION TECHNIQUE OF HF TREATMENT FOR EXTRACTING POLLEN AND SPORES FROM LOESS SEDIMENTS

摘要 黄土孢粉提取是黄土孢粉分析的关键 ,到目前为止 ,虽然有一些比较好的工作方法 ,但是都存在一定的问题。本文主要提出 HF法处理黄土孢粉的一些应该注意之处。由于黄土中有大量碳酸盐以及胶结物 ,且 Si O2 含量也较高 ,需要对标准的 HF法进行相应的调整 ,在处理过程中多次进行 HCl和 HF处理。对甘肃静宁酸刺沟剖面 2 6 1个黄土孢粉样品的进行 HF法处理的结果表明 。 Extraction of pollen and spores from loess sediments is a key to pollen and spores analysis for studying the vegetational history of the Loess Plateau. Although some progress has been made on the preparation of pollen from loess sediments, more effective and economic technique has to be employed for high-resolution pollen and spores analysis. In this study, we present a slightly improved preparation technique of HF treatment according to the character of loess deposits. Because there are lots of SiO 2, Al 2O 3 and calcium carbonate in loess, samples should be treated repeatedly with HCl and HF in the preparation until the SiO 2, Al 2O 3 and calcium carbonate entirely desolved for extracting pollen and spores. 261 samples (each 40—70g) were analyzed by using this technique from the Suancigou section in Jingning County, Gansu Province, which proved the technique very effective and economic.
