摘要
历史文化名城普遍存在着保护与开发的矛盾。苏州作为江南历史文化名城必须坚持旅游开发与城市建设一体化,解决好旅游发展同城市建设的协调问题,打破条块分割,实现旅游与城建、古城保护与开发的有序联动;必须强化苏州特色,在保持传统格局、历史风貌、继承传统特色的同时,真正做到高起点规划、高标准建设、高效能管理;注重营建古城良好的旅游环境和社会环境,就要解决好“水”、“空气污染”、“交通堵塞”等环境问题,搞好城市绿化工作,以生态的改善保障人与生态的共同发展,从而实现古城的可持续发展和苏州旅游业的长久兴旺。
There exists a common conflict as to the protection and development in famous historical and cultural cities. Suzhou, one of such cities to the south of Yangtze River should integrate tourism development and urban construction. In order to realize their harmonious progress, we should break the barriers between' different departments and regions and achieve the systematic implementation of tourism and urban construction, protection of ancient city and its development. Meanwhile, we should reinforce the features of Suzhou and produce a plan with a higher starting - point, high - standard construction and high - efficiency management along with the maintenance of its traditional urban structure, historical features as well as its unique traditional features. We should also attach importance to the optimization of its tourism and social environment of the ancient city by solving such problems as water, air pollution and traffic congestion and improving urban landscaping to ensure die development of both human being and ecology. We can, as a result, expect a sustainable development of the ancient city and long prosperity of tourism in Suzhou.
