摘要
根据100余个样品的ESR测年的实验情况,讨论了室温下用沉积物中石英各心进行测年的可行性问题。认为Ge心可以测得沉积物在几十万年内沉积时可靠的年龄,采用较高的功率在某些地质环境里(如海洋沉积物、黄土)可用E′心求得较老(大于50万年)沉积物的沉积年龄。OHC心不能用于测年,但可用于判断石英是否来自同一源区。
Based on the experiments of ESR dating for more than 100 samples, the feasibilities of ESR dating using different centres of quartz in sediments at room temperature are discussed. Reliable ESR ages of sediments within several handred thousands years can be obtained from Ge centres of quartz,while the ESR ages of older sediments (more than 5×105a)can be obtained from E' centres of quartz in some geological conditions (marine sediments or loess) by using a higher microwave power. OHC centres can not be used for ESR dating, but it can judge whether quartz samples are from the same origin .
