摘要
本文从语体特征、儿童情趣和跨文化交际三方面探讨了儿童文学翻译应注意的几个基本问题,指出儿童文学的译者 应有强烈的文体意识,熟悉儿童的语言,洞察儿童心理才能创造出"功能对等"的深受儿童读者喜爱的译作。
This article lays down the guidelines for translating children's literature. It identifies style, state of psycho-emotional development, and cultural differences as the three factors that deserve the most attention from translators of this special genre. The author argues that only with the translator's acute sensitivity to children's stylistic preferences, her familiarity with their unique way of using language, and her insight into their characteristic psycho-emotional state can functional equivalence be achieved and the target text appeal to its intended audience the same way the source text appeals to its.
