摘要
运用多孔介质模型对催化器内部流动建立了数学模型,应用CFD软件Fluent对不同扩张管结构的流场进行了三维模拟。并利用实验数据验证了模型的正确性。在此基础上,用软件分析了扩张角和排气流量对催化器内流场的影响。计算机模拟为催化器的结构优化提供了依据。
A mathematical model of the flows in catalyst converters was established by porous media approach, CFD code Fluent was utilized to simulate multidimensional flow with different configurations. In order to verify the model, computing results were compared to experimental ones. On the basis of the model validation, the effect of inlet cone angle and exhaust flow on flow field was analyzed. The Simulation offered a practical guide to the optimum design of catalyst converters.
