摘要
许多学生学不好英语,与学生自己的阅读习惯及学习方式有关,也与现在刻板的教学方法有很大关系,拟从英语阅读能力的培养及教学方法的改革这两个方面作初步的探讨,旨在帮助学生提高他们的英语运用水平;关于如何提高学生的英语阅读能力,认为,一是充分利用教材中的课文进行阅读训练;二是广泛开展课外阅读;三是指导学生掌握正确的阅读方法与技巧;四是培养学生良好的阅读习惯,这样持之以恒,多读多练,才会收到事半功倍的效果;另一方面,关于如何改革英语教学方法,笔者认为,英语教学要以学生为中心,以英语应用为目的,提倡“浸入情感”式的学习方法,用英语的“说、学、逗、唱”代替传统的“哑巴英语”,方可达到提高学生英语应用水平,培养其健康情感的目的。
Many students don't learn English well which has re lation to not only their habits and ways of reading but also inflexible teaching method, the text proceeds prime studying from both sides of the educating of r eading ability and the reformation of the English teaching method ,the aim is h elping students to improve their English applied level . Concerning exalting stu dents' reading for understanding, the writer thinks: Firstly, use sufficiently t he text of the textbook to practice .Secondly, open extensively outside reading .Thirdly, guide students to master reading method and technique .Fourthly, educa te student's good habit of reading .Like the persistent .Keep on practicing the skills and would acquire good effect.Concerning improving teaching .The writer t hinks. English teaching must treat students as a center and regard application a s the purpose .Promote the way of 'dipping into the emotion to learn ', use 's peak ,learn ,stir , sing' replace 'dummy English' of the tradition .So we can improve students English applied level , educate their health emotion.
