摘要
文献作为沟通历史学术文化与人们之间的桥梁与媒介,成为一种信息传播的重要工具。在“文献”的传播符号体系中,图像符号具有特殊的传播力,尤其是在学术文化知识的普及传播与大众教育方面,起着非常重要的作用。但是,在中华文化的学术知识谱系中,文字符号一直处于中心地位,而图像符号处于从属的地位。这种现象与中国的社会历史发展、学术文化传统和科学技术水平等因素密切相关。随着科学技术的发展,尤其是进入电子信息化的多元传播时代后,以图像为中心的图像文化符号传播系统正向传统的语言文化符号传播系统提出挑战,我们应该加强图像语言手段在学术文献中的运用,采取科学的传播策略,以求真正发挥图像的传播力,紧跟图像文化传播时代的发展步伐。
Document,as the bridge and the mediu m to connect the historical academic culture with the masses,has become a very inp ortant instrument for transmitting information.In the symbolic system of document transmitting,im age symbols possess a special transm itting power,and it plays a major role in the popularity of academic knowledge and the education of th e masses.However,in the ancestry of acdemic knowledge of Chi nese culture,image symbols have been subordinative to literal symbols.This phenomenon is closely related to the social and historical development,the tradition of academic culture and the level of science and technology.With the develo pment of science and technology,especially in a time of m ultimedia communication of electro nic information,symbolic transmission system characterized by image-centred image culture is a c hallege to traditional symbolic transmission system characterized by language culture.We should reinf orce the application of image language in academic documents by ta king scientific transmission strategy so as to give full play to the transmitting power of image and catc h up with the development of the time o f image culture com-munication.
