A framework for studying operational mechanisms of agile supply chain is presented based on theories and methods such as causal loop diagrams, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and analytic network process (ANP), which includes the steps of identifying key factors, analyzing causal relationships, evaluating interactions and analyzing results. A real case study is used throughout the paper to explain how this framework works.
