摘要
本文应用沙塘鳢属鱼类的外形特征、头部感觉管孔的有无及感觉乳突之排列方式作为分类依据,对采自中国各河川800余尾沙塘鳢属鱼类进行较全面、系统的研究,还对比产于日本和韩国的种类,解决了中国沙塘鳢属长期混淆不清的分类问题。中国沙塘鳢属鱼类有4种(其中有一新种),即河川沙塘鳢O.potamophila(Gunther),海丰沙塘鳢O.haifengensis Chen.,鸭绿沙塘鳢(新种)O.yaluensis Wu,Wu et Xie sp.nov。和暗色沙塘鳢O.obscura(Temm.et Schl.)
The present paper deals with the revision of the genus Odontobutisin China. This work is based on the arrangement of the sensory papillae and the statusof the sensory canal pore of the head. The external characters of a goby are taken intoconsideration. It is found that there are four species in Odontobutis from China, i. e. O.potamophila. O. haifengensis, O. yaluensis sp. nov., O. obscura. The new species is briflydescribed as follows. Odontobutis yaluensis. Wu, Wu et Xie sp. nov. (figures 1C, 2, 3) Material examined. -Holotype, ? SFC-1092, 137mm SL, collected from Chang-dian River(a branch of Yalu River)in Oct. 14, 1981. Paratypes 43: SFC-1110, -1112-1113, -1116, -1118-1120, -1122-1124, -1126,59-128mm SL, from Tai-zi River (branch of Liao-he River)in Sep. 1966; SFC-1128-1134, -1136-1137, -1140-1144, -1084, 65-105mm SL, from Ai-he River(branch ofYalu River): SFC-1148--1152, -1154-1155, 70-213mm SL, from Ben-xi (branch ofLiao-he River)in Aug. 1964; SFC-1158-1161, 41-60mm SL, from Hun-jiang (branchof Yalu River); SFC-1086, -1088, -1157, 48-74mm SL, from Pu-shi River (branch ofYalu River) in April, 1982; SFC-1771, 162mm SL, from Ying-na River in Sep. 1980;SFC-1172, 108m SL, from Bi-liu River in June, 1981; SFC-1156, 121mm SL, collectinglocality and date same as holotype. Diagnosis.-It is noted that the present species most resembles with O. potamophilain having the sensory canal pore c on the head. But differs from the latter in havingspecific concentric circles or radi-arrangement of scales on its top of the head (fig. 3)instead of the imbricated. Description.-D. Ⅵ-Ⅷ, Ⅰ-8-10; A. Ⅰ-6-8; P. 15-16: Ⅴ. Ⅰ-5. Ll. 43-53:L. tr. 17-22; Pred. S. 21-26. Depth 4. 2-6. 1 in length, head 2. 6-3. 1. Snout 3.3-4.6 in head, eye 5. 3-6. 7. Sensory canal pore c present. Pit lines 6 and 7 connected (a few interrupted) (fig.1C). The arrangement of scales on its top of the head 1s as the concentric circles orradiation(fig. 3). Head and body brownish: paler ventrally, sometimes mottled with dots. Three distinct triangular blackish blotches on body, first one extending from themiddle of the first dorsal fin, the second from about the posterior half of the seconddorsal, the third on the caudal peduncle. Distribution-Odontobutis yaluensis is know only from the Yalu River and Liao-heRiver, Northeastern China. Holotype is kept in Shanghai Fisheries University and paratypes in Shanghai Fi-sheries University, Research Institute of Freshwater Fisheries of Liaoning Provinceand Dalian Nature History Museum.
