摘要
对小波变换的引出、正反变换的实现、小波变换的变焦作用，以及在图像压缩、边沿检测中的应用作了详细叙述，且应用小波变换处理图像，得到了满意的实验结果。
In this paper,the wavelet transform(WT),inverse wavelet transform areintroduced.The variable focus property of WT is discussed. The application of WT in imagecompression ,edge detection ispresented. The experimental results are reported.
