摘要
信息的传输与存贮依赖于信息的长度,为了提高信息的传输速度和减少占用的空间,必须采用信息的压缩技术。哈夫曼编码是著名的数据压缩方法之一,它广泛适用于西文、中文、图象数据等领域的信息压缩中。本文给出了Pascal语言的实现过程,并讨论了在各项领域中的应用。
The transmission and storage of information depend on its length. In order to raise information transmissive speed and reduce the space occupied, it is necessary to use compression technology for information, Huffman encoding is one of the welf-known methods of data compression. It is widely used in the information in the fields of western languages, Chinese characters and pncture data etc. This paper presents the programme in which the process is created by using Pascal language, and discuss the application of Huffman encoding in various fields.
