This paper systematically analysed the applying problems of UPVC drain pipe in high-rise buildings.The research has focused on improving the relevant techniques,such as the pipes' fireproof and fire prevention, fitting Strengthening,sllding and fixing cardles and suspended surports,expansion pieces, sound reduction, leakproof, ect. It would be of great benefit to adopt UPVCdrain pipes instead of the traditional cast iron ones in high-rise buildings.
