摘要
年龄相关性黄斑变性(AMD)是发生于老年人中的致盲性眼病。多年来,国内外不少学者均致力于对AMD的流行病学、病因学、发病机制等多方面的研究。但由于疾病本身的复杂性以及缺乏合适的动物模型,迄今为止仍有许多问题尚在争论之中。因此,有必要就近年来国外对AMD的研究概况予以简要综述。
Age-related macular degeneration is one of the leading causes of blindness in elder population, and many studies have been done on its epidemiology, etiology and pathogenesis. However, many issues are still open to question due to the complexity of the disease development and lack of the adequate animal model.
