摘要
《虬髯客传》的作者,有张说、裴铏、杜光庭等说,无定论。本文从政治背景入手,详考武、韦以后,在唐玄宗、太平公主争夺皇位的决斗时刻———先天二年( 7 1 2 )六月,忠于玄宗的名臣张说,向玄宗献佩刀,“请先事讨之”,同时抛出宣传玄宗是“真人”(真命天子) ,并警告“人臣”(太平公主及其党羽)勿“谬思乱”的《虬髯客传》。附带说明,此传非裴铏、杜光庭等作。
There are different versions on the author of The Story of A Heavy Beard Swordsman. On the basis of the political background after the death of Empress Wu Zetian and the powerful wife of Emperor Zhongzong, this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the crucial moment (712 A.D.) when Emperor Xuanzong and Princess Taiping were scrambling for power. Zhang Shuo who was loyal to Xuanzong presented The Story of A Heavy Beard Swordsman, claiming that Xuanzong was an ordained Son of Heaven and warning Taiping not to rebel. This indicates the book was written by Zhang Shuo instead of others.
