摘要
英语中的汉语借词有1000余年历史。从历时的角度考察这一历史语言现象,目的是研究英语社会输入汉文化这一漫长的历史进程,透视影响这一进程的社会文化因素和权力关系。
Chinese borrowings in English have a long history of over 1,000 years. This paper, based on a diachronic study of this historical language phenomenon, aims to probe into social-cultural factors and power relations influencing cultural exchanges between some English-speaking countries and China.
