Patterns of traffic injuries and types of collision in 511 inpatients with traffic injruies were analysed epidemiologically.In all the cases,motorcyclists accounted for 36.0%,pedestrians 34.2%,bicyclists 18.2% and persons in automobiles 11.6%.The rates of craniocerebral injuries in different types of collision were different ( P <0.001)∶The rate in the group of pedestrians injured by collision of motorcycle was higher than that of automobile;the rate in the group of motorcyclists injured by going out of control was higher than that by colliding with automobile;the rate in the group of bicyclists was higher than that of motorcyclists.The different collision types and causes of traffic injuries are discussed,and the preventive measures against tracffic accidents are proposed.
