In this paper, the effects of ethanol, isopropanol, acetone, Tween-80 or op on the selectivityof determination of La(Ⅲ) with TBCPA, TCCPA orDBCCPA have been studied. The results of researchof eighteen colour reactions showed that the selectivity of colour reactions could be improved markedlyby adding ethanol, isopropanol, acetone, Tween-80 orOP. The higher the acidity of the solution, the better the improvement in selectivity.
