摘要
科学计算可视化是一种把数据信息转换成可视信息的新兴技术,是分析与理解数据的有力工具。在介绍了VISC工具和应用状况的基础上,总结了VISC在林业中的应用现状,并结合林业信息与数据的特点,提出了VISC在林业中的应用研究热点和特点。
As a new technology,Visualization in Scientific Computing（VISC） is regarded as means to analyses and comprehend data, which can convert numerical data into visual one.The paper reviews the research status and tool of VISC,sums up the applying status of VISC in forestry. Moreover, based on the data and information characteristic of forest ,this paper advances VISC hot spot and specialty applying in forest.
