摘要
《交友论》是利玛窦用中文撰写的第一部著作,它的成功无疑是基督教传教成果的公开展示,它带给利玛窦的不仅是中国士大夫们的赏识,更为重要的是验证了适应性传教策略的正确性,为利玛窦后来传教局面的推开创造了条件。这部著作紧扣当时中国士大夫们的心理,按照他们的口味进行编写,作为外国人撰写的中文著作,它既是外国人了解中国、又是中国人了解世界的桥梁,可以说它是中西文化交流碰撞和融合的产物。
On Friendship was just the first article Ricci Matteo wrote in Chinese. The success of this paper was no doubt a show of the missionary tactics. It brought to Ricci not only many Chinese friends, but also the test and verification of the right of the missionary tactics, which made great contribution to the later missionary work. As an article written by a foreigner, it set up a bridge between the west and the east, resulted from the crash and fusion of the different cultures.
